Sock brand TEKO have announced the renewal of its partnership with the Freeride World Tour (FWT) for another three years and will continue to be the official licensed sock of the event from 2015 to 2017.

The tour includes some of the world’s top skiers and snowboarders compete on the most demanding terrain on the planet.

As part of the sponsorship, TEKO will annually supply tour organisers and participants with 1000 pairs of its specially licensed sock – the Freeride World Tour sock.

Commenting on the sponsorship, owner of TEKO Gordon Fraser says: “We originally decided to work with Freeride World Tour as, not only do we have a real synergy with the event in terms of our product, but our strong commitment to the environment when it comes to producing our socks is echoed by the organisation’s commitment to embracing local communities and encouraging a very responsible approach to how they interface with the mountains and wilderness. We are very happy to have signed up for another three years and look forward to continue being part of such an incredible and challenging event.”

Taking place across six stages, the 2013-14 Freeride World Tour has already started with the first event at Kicking Horse resort. Then moving to Europe on January 18th in Courmayeur, Chamonix (Jan 25), Fieberbrunn (Feb 1), back to North America with Kirkwood (March 1) and concluding with Verbier on March 22.
